I decided to try out for the Knowledge Bowl this semester. It consists of basically memorizing a lot
of culinary information from specific books. Am I strange to like reading cook books? I decided to
pick Escoffier, it is the culinary bible of all Chefs. I ordered the book and here it is! Next year I can do the cooking competitions, but for now acquiring knowledge is what I focus on...then I can compete and and give it my best. The Knowledge bowl commitment isn't easy, I have to make time to study and decided to wake up earlier( not easy with little kids) everyday and study. I think this is teaching me good discipline and a good example for my children too. I love what I do.
